As a busy wife, and the mother of four actively involved children, I find myself under the constant constraints of time. It seems that from the time I wake up, I’m on a rapidly moving train that doesn’t stop until I lay down at night. With homework, after-school activities, cooking, cleaning, laundry, church, and church functions, it seems like there are never enough hours in the day. However, in all the hustle and bustle of life, one thing is a must. We must make family prayer an essential part of our day.
Deuteronomy 6:6-7 says, “And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.”
